RIMAU number plates for KL SEA Games 2017

Organising committee gets approval from RTD to sell the number plates as part of marketing and promotion plans.

KUALA LUMPUR:
The Malaysian SEA Games Organising Committee (Masoc) is pleased to launch the sale of RIMAU number plates as part of the marketing and promotion plans to commemorate the 29th SEA Games and 9th Para Asean Games in Kuala Lumpur in August and September.

In a statement today, Masoc confirmed it had received approval from the Road Transport Department (RTD) to use the number plate.

It said the launch date and further details will be disclosed in the near future.

Malaysia first hosted the SEA Games, or SEAP Games, in 1965. Up until the Singapore edition in 2015, Malaysia hosted the games a total of five times.

The last time Malaysia played host to the SEA Games was in 2001 when the country emerged overall champion with 111 gold medals, followed by Thailand (103) and Indonesia (72).
