KUALA LUMPUR: He went missing last Sunday evening after he split from the group he was hiking with on Broga Hill, Semenyih. His loved ones feared the worst after seven days of no news.

But to their relief, 20-year-old Mohd Azarul Mukhriz Abd Rahman was found unhurt today.

Kajang police chief ACP Othman Nanyan said the young man was found by a search and rescue team together with Mountain Search and Rescue members at the “Puncak 3” of Broga Hill at 11.45am.

“The man is in stable condition, but weak. He has been brought down and sent to the Kajang Hospital for a medical check-up,” he said in a statement today.
