
Mah said Lim had never contacted the party but only made an announcement on the matter at a media conference.
“This is just a game. I only found out about the invitation after reading about it in the newspapers,” he told reporters after a Gerakan open house at the PGRM Building here today.
Recently, local media reported that Lim wanted to discuss with senior leaders of Umno, MCA and Gerakan, purportedly to cooperate and save Malaysia.
Lim was reported as saying that MCA and Gerakan leaders were given 72 hours to state their agreements without having to seek permission from Umno.
