PETALING JAYA:
“I held his hand, seeking forgiveness during his last hour, and his last words to me were ‘I love you, Milah’. And with that, he left me forever.”
milah23This is what the wife of the late Sarawak Chief Minister Adenan Satem told a visitor at the Samariang Muslim cemetary where he was put to rest.

Adenan died after a prayer, said his wife Jamilah Anu, 61.

The visitor Asri Sapiee said in a Facebook post today: “Datin Jamilah has been there for him throughout his career as a politician.

“She is also known for her friendliness and down-to-earth attitude. She is friendly with everyone just like the husband, and made people feel at ease and appreciated.”

Asri took his father-in-law to visit Adenan’s grave and there he met Jamilah.

“Jamilah’s love for Adenan will be fresh in her mind. Eternal love,” he said.
