KTM commuters can now grab the Komuter Link card for just RM2, compared to its original price of RM10, for a month starting now.
The Star reported that KTM is also moving towards more cashless transactions and card users get to enjoy savings of up to 20% each time they make use of the card.
“With the rising cost of living, the cashless payment method is the way to go. Commuters must be wise and understand that using the Komuter Link card can bring many benefits, including savings and without the hassle of queuing to get tickets at the machine.
“Users will also enjoy a discount of up to 20% for every transaction,” KTM Bhd Commuter Services general manager Azshidah Shah Shahari said in a statement.
The Star reported that the Komuter Link card (for adults), can be purchased at RM2 at all KTM counters and ticket machines or from mobile teams during the promotion.
The card was introduced at all stations after the new token and reload card system went fully operational in October.
