IJM toll division chief operating officer Wan Salwani Wan Yusoff, in a statement today, said the discount would take effect from 12.01am on Sunday at all the Besraya and NPE toll plazas, as well as at the Ampangan toll plaza in Lekas.

“The discount offer is a corporate social responsibility initiative. The toll discount has become a trend on our expressways to show our appreciation and reduce the burden of motorists,” she said.

She advised motorists to ensure their vehicles were in safe condition and to plan their journey.

For a comfortable journey, she advised motorists travelling to the south to use Lekas, and those going east to use Besraya’s new Eastern Extension from Salak Selatan or Jalan Istana to MRR2 through Loke Yew toll plaza.

Meanwhile, road users plying the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (Akleh), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE) and Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway (LKSA) will also enjoy a 10% toll discount.

Projek Lintasan Kota Holdings Sdn Bhd (Prolintas) chief executive officer (finance and administration) Malik Parvez Ahmad said the discount would be given from 6am on Dec 25 until 6am on Dec 26.
