A Form One male student of a religious school here suffered broken ribs after allegedly being bullied by senior students on Nov 16.

Muhammad Aiman Fahmi Norizzal, 13, said he was kicked, slapped and dragged for refusing to share his packet drink with one of the seniors.

At about 1.30am, he said he was woken by a senior student, who asked him to go to the surau, where he was beaten by the group.

“They beat me one by one, after half an hour I was released and threatened not to report the matter to anyone,” he said when met at his house near Taman Sri Kinta here yesterday.

The victim’s father, Norrizal Ramli, 36, said after receiving a phone call from the school guard about his son’s condition, he immediately sent him to the clinic.

“After an X-ray, the doctor said his left ribs were broken,” he said, adding that a report was lodged at Jelapang police station on Nov 18.
