The 72-year-old retired teacher won the Power Toto 6/55 Jackpot in the Sports Toto special draw on Oct 4, New Straits Times Online reported.

It said the former teacher’s winning combination – 18, 20, 33, 51, 52 & 53 – was derived from his mobile phone number. He used the System 8 to come up with the winning combination.

“I have never missed a draw.

“I won RM37,000 when I was young. I must be blessed that God has gifted me RM37 million in my old age.”

He plans to share his cash winnings with his children.

The news report said another winner from Johor won the RM14 million Toto 4D Jackpot 1 on Oct 9, using System 5.

The 55-year-old man, who works in the printing industry, bet on his car number and his favourite number – 8800 and 9577.

He had been playing the 4D numbers for the past six years.
