The singing great even had time to hang out with Prime Minister Najib Rajak, whom he thanked for a “warm welcome” to Malaysia in a Twitter post. Accompanying that tweet was a picture of Usher and Najib that the prime minister had earlier tweeted, in which he said: “My selfie with Usher at F1 Sepang. Friendly guy!”

This was followed in quick succession with other hits like Good Kisser and You Make Me Wanna.
His adoring fans were putty in his hands and being the consummate performer, Usher knew just what to say to keep them begging for more. “How are you all feeling? You’re looking good tonight,” he said to a screaming crowd, the New Straits Times said.
Later he eased into one of his latest hits, a duet with Malaysia’s one and only Yuna and said to his fans: “I hope you don’t mind me singing something you might be familiar with.”
Looking every bit the sleek superstar that he is despite the unbearable heat that caused him to perspire profusely, Usher, clad in black, good-humouredly joked, saying, “I don’t know about you but I’m enjoying every drop of sweat that’s coming out of me right now!”
Usher is certainly a familiar face with Malaysians, having performed here in 2010. He also made it into our living rooms when he was one of four judges in the reality singing competition The Voice in both seasons 4 and 6.
Showing his appreciation to his fans for their support of his music, Usher said: “What I do, I could not do without you.” Before taking his leave he shouted out: “I love you!”
