KUALA LUMPUR: Investigations into a video purportedly of two teachers smooching, has turned out to be untrue as the couple were neither teachers nor individuals involved in any education ministry institution.
Minister Mahdzir Khalid said the video recording, which went viral on social sites recently, was believed to have been shot eight years ago at a plantation in Segamat, Johor.
Nevertheless, the ministry would continue trying to identify those involved in the video, he said in his latest posting on Facebook and Twitter.
The eight-minute video recording showed two individuals, alleged to be teachers, being intimate with each other.
The action in the video, which was recorded by a man, was deemed immoral, and condemned by netizens.
