Former deputy IGP Kudus dies at 86

He is buried at Bukit Kiara Muslim cemetery today.

KUALA LUMPUR:
Retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police Abdul Kudus Alias died today at the University Malaya Medical Centre here. He was 86.

Abdul Kudus leaves wife Nely Ainor Abdullah, 84, and six children.

His daughter, Maznah, 59, said her father died at 10.25am.

“My father had been at the hospital for the past three weeks because of breathing difficulties,” she told Bernama.

Abdul Kudus was buried at the Bukit Kiara Muslim cemetery at 3.40pm.

He was the deputy IGP in the 1980s.
