KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Najib Razak today took time to visit ailing veteran actor Jins Shamsuddin at the latter’s home.
Najib, in a posting on his Facebook, said he had very high regard for the arts icon, who is also a former senator.
“I grew up along with his works. He is now suffering from Alzheimer’s. Let’s together pray that he will always receive the protection of Allah,” said Najib.
In the posting, the prime minister also uploaded a photograph showing him with Jins, 81, who was with his wife Halijah Abdullah and their children, Putera Hang Jebat and Putera Hang Nadim.
