Malay Mail Online said Sabah Police Commissioner Abdul Rashid Harun confirmed that a police report had been lodged claiming that the officer had raped his two teenage daughters while his wife was asleep in the same house.

“We are investigating the case to verify the facts,” he said, adding that no arrest had been made.

In the police report lodged yesterday, one of the victims claimed the father had raped her last Friday and molested her sister at their home in the police quarters and threatened to kill them if they told their mother.

Malay Mail Online also said the victim claimed she was also raped last month when their mother was asleep in the bedroom upstairs.

The father was alleged to have repeatedly abused them since they were seven years old.

The victim eventually told her mother and ran away from home to Kota Kinabalu on Sunday and lodged a report yesterday.

The officer has seven children from his two wives.
