PETALING JAYA:
Sitting on the window frame of a car, with one’s body outside the moving vehicle is definitely a bad idea – especially so in an accident and crash prone road like the one leading to Genting Highlands.

But that’s exactly what three girls have become “famous” for, as videos of them enjoying the cool air with their upper bodies completely hanging outside a moving Perodua Alza, have become viral, reported The Sun.

The minute-long video was posted by Facebook user “Giin Yong” on Sunday. Yong, who described the scene as “an accident waiting to happen” said she was a passenger in the vehicle behind the Alza.

The incident took place on Saturday evening.

The video has garnered over 2.7 million views and over 29,000 shares at the time this article was written.

Not surprisingly, netizens unanimously slammed the “silly” act displayed by the girls in the video.

Some remarked that the girls were not only endangering their own lives, but that of other motorists too.

Facebook user Rayven Roberts said: “All fun and games until someone gets hurt.”

It is unclear if anyone has lodged a police report over the incident or if the relevant authorities will take action as the three were clearly not wearing their seat belts, which is law in Malaysia. The incident even received coverage in Chinese newspapers.
