PUTRAJAYA:
Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin needs some time to read all the documents contained in a pen drive given to him by Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.

The pen drive contains a report on alleged incidents of corrupt practices in the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM).

“There are 279 pages in the report contained in the pen drive given to me on Friday. I had some free time on Saturday and Sunday, but I still had a few programmes to attend. I had FitMalaysia on Saturday and another event in the evening.

“I only started reading the report in detail last night. I could not finish all 279 pages in one night. You have to give me a little more time to read the documents. I will inform you what the next move is.”

The minister declined to say more to reporters who asked him about the pen drive handed over to him by Tunku Ismail.

The Johor Southern Tigers Facebook said Tunku Ismail had handed over to Khairy the pen drive which contained information on leakages and FAM misconduct.

Tunku Ismail, who is also owner of Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club (JDT), decided to hand over the pen drive as he did not want any problem with the FAM.
