KUALA LUMPUR: Police detained a factory worker suspected of involvement in the fatal shooting of a female real estate agent in Taman OUG in Old Klang Road here on July 6.
City police chief Amar Singh Ishar Singh, in confirming the matter, said the 29-year-old man was arrested in Tampoi, Johor, on Saturday.
“The suspect has been remanded until Thursday,” he said in a statement today.
Amar Singh said the remand on eight other individuals that expired today had been extended.
He said police were tracking down another suspect still at large.
Wong Siew Ling, 32, died instantly while her daughter was injured when the vehicle they were in, was shot at around 2.30pm.
