Refusing to elaborate on the issue, he said the matter was “old news which had been commented on over the last two three days”.

Previously, the media had reported Penang Deputy Chief Minister II P Ramasamy as saying a snap election could be a response to the two charges of corruption filed against Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng, who is also DAP secretary-general.
