PETALING JAYA: The Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar is expected to be discharged from hospital this afternoon, reported The Star Online today.
The Ruler is recovering, after being admitted to the Sultanah Aminah Hospital last Friday after experiencing a mild viral infection and gastritis, said the report.
Johor Menteri Besar Khaled Nordin, who visited Sultan Ibrahim on Friday, said he was doing well.
According to Khaled, the Sultan’s condition could have been caused by his various visits to Ramadan bazaars in the state, compounded by uncertain weather conditions, last week.
