BALIK PULAU: Police have detained 20 car drivers for taking part in illegal racing activities at Jalan Teluk Bahang heading towards Balik Pulau early this morning.
Southwest district traffic enforcement chief ASP Mohamad KA Razak said that the operation was conducted by 15 policemen at about 1am after receiving complaints from the public that it was common during weekends.
“They had complained that their sleep had been interrupted by the loud car noises,” he told reporters here Sunday.
