PETALING JAYA:
Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia (SAMM) Chairman Badrul Hisham Shaharin, better known as Chegubard, has hit back at “Ratu Naga” (Syarul Ema Rena Abu Samah) for gatecrashing his press conference earlier today.

In a statement, Badrul Hisham said her act reeked of desperation and he challenged her to either lodge a police report against freelance programmer Azharuddin Othman, who implicated her in claims of getting signatures for the Citizens’ Declaration, or sue him to prove her innocence.

“Azhar made the (first) statutory declaration (SD) based on law. If what you (Syarul Ema) are saying is true, then lodge a police report or sue him in court.”

He said that he allowed Syarul Ema into today’s press conference on purpose so that “everyone can see her desperation”.

He also slammed Syarul Ema for challenging him and Azharuddin to swear on their mothers, wives and children that they do not know her.

“For the record, she previously swore on a Quran without covering her ‘aurat’ in a mamak restaurant.”

Badrul Hisham and Azharuddin are set to lodge police reports tomorrow against the “fake” SD, currently making its rounds on social media, which says Azharuddin rejected his first SD.

The police report would also be against media outlets which had published the “fake” SD.

Last month, Azharuddin claimed that he had sold a database containing details of 900,000 people to Syarul Ema, for use in the Citizens’ Declaration.

Syarul Ema vehemently denied even knowing Azharuddin.

Yesterday, a second SD, purportedly that of Azharuddin denying the contents of his first SD, surfaced on social media.
