Rafizi to start fresh round of ‘exposes’

PKR secretary-general says when he shows BN's “excessive wastage”, it will convince voters in Kuala Kangsar and Sungai Besar not to vote for the ruling coalition.

Rafizi-Exposes

PETALING JAYA:
PKR Secretary-General Rafizi Ramli will start a new series of exposes against the ruling coalition, beginning tomorrow to convince voters in the upcoming twin by-elections.

In a statement, the Pandan MP said he would be at either one of the two places every day until the end of campaigning to “remind” the rakyat that they are forced to pay the Goods and Services Tax (GST) while leaders continue to live in luxury.

“Tomorrow, I will start a new series of exposes.

“I’m confident that when the rakyat knows of another case of excessive wastage, it would convince them that the only choice they are left with is to vote for the Pakatan Harapan candidate.”

He said he would kick off the expose with a session at the Amanah/Pakatan Harapan operations room in Kuala Kangsar at noon tomorrow.

“The exposes will continue every day until the last day of campaigning,” he said.

Rafizi said the GST was “tyrannical” as it forced the poor to pay the same tax as the wealthy, to cover a hole left by the elite looting the country’s wealth.

He also took Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Wahid Omar to task for defending the GST and abolition of subsidies.
