Badrul Hisham Shaharin, head of the Solidariti Anak Muda Malaysia group, said ‘Ratu Naga’ had made contact seeking to find out about Azharuddin Othman, who recently made headlines, after claiming that he sold MyKad databases for the campaign.
Azharuddin had said he had been approached by a person known as ‘Ratu Naga’ at the time.
In a statement today, Badrul, better known as “Chegubard” showed two screenshots of alleged chat group conversations on May 26 in which ‘Ratu Naga2’ asks ‘Zaxx’ who Azahar was, in an apparent reference to Azharuddin.
However, when contacted by FMT, Syarul Ema Rena Abu Sama, the woman known to be ‘Ratu Naga’, denied that she was the ‘Ratu Naga2’ shown in the new screenshots.
In the May 27 conversations, ‘Zaxx’ messages ‘Ratu Naga’ that Azharuddin was his “boy”, while apologising for failing to control Azharuddin’s anger at not being paid the amount agreed on.
Chegubard said it was clear that Ema had panicked and had contacted Azharuddin’s camp after Azharudding made a statutory declaration that he had sold the databases to ‘Ratu Naga’.
“The question is not whether she knows Azharuddin or not, but whether there is truth to the purchase of the databases,” said Chegubard, urging the police to investigate the list of signatories as it was an attempt to mislead the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
The declaration is part of a campaign to bring down Najib Razak as prime minister, by petitioning the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to dismiss him.
Yesterday, SAMM made a police report about claims that the signatures on the Citizens’ Declaration had been falsified, and Chegubard urged the police to obtain the list of names from Azharuddin and verify them against those in the Citizens’ Declaration.
Ema denied she was ‘Ratu Naga2’ as shown in the May 26 conversation, and said that in the May 27 conversation, she said she had no idea what the person who contacted her was talking about, so she ignored it.
Ema said she was used to such attacks just because she did not support Prime Minister Najib Razak, and told Chegubard not to be too excited over his “efforts”.
