KUANTAN: A superbike rider died after his machine skidded at Km 41 Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway at 10am today.
Arzami Barimin, 30, from Muar, Johor, died while being given emergency treatment at the scene of the accident.
Bentong Police chief Supt Mohamad Mansor Mohamad Nor said the victim was on a Kawasaki ZX1000-S from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan with 30 other superbike riders.
“Soon after leaving the convoy at Gombak BHP petrol kiosk, the victim suddenly skidded while descending a hilly bend.
“The incident caused the victim to be thrown off his superbike before hitting a concrete wall and falling into a drain,” he said when contacted today.
