In the video, the mechanic, said to be a Malaysian, tries to physically stop the agent from entering the workshop while a friend of the former records the incident on his mobile phone.

Suddenly the female companion of the agent starts spouting vulgarities at the person recording the altercation and soon joins in the fray armed with an umbrella, after a scuffle breaks out.

Three videos of the incident – two recorded by people at the scene, and the third, CCTV footage at the workshop, is currently making its rounds on Facebook.

Netizens condemned the lady with the umbrella, for exclaiming “this is Singapore”, as they said such comments were unwarranted, given that the issue in dispute was merely about parking.

Many said the two parties should have settled their differences without having to resort to a full-blown physical confrontation.
