KUALA LUMPUR: Human error has been identified as the cause for the train collision in Kuala Kubu Baru recently.
The Star quoted Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai as saying that the matter will be referred to the police.
Speaking to reporters at a Wesak Day celebration here today, Liow said the investigation into the accident pointed to negligence on the part of the drivers.
In the incident on May 7, two Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) trains collided resulting in three passengers suffering minor injuries. The trains involved were a north-bound ETS (electric train service) and a south-bound Express Rakyat.
