“I will also have to clear the debts. I think it is not worth buying the shares. The management of Rayani Air needs to find a way to solve their debt issues first,” mStar Online quoting her as saying.
However, Hasmiza said she would only make her final decision after meeting with the airline’s management.
“I have not made any decision, I am only considering. If the offer benefits both sides, why not,” she said adding the meeting was most likely to be held after her trip to Sabah.

“When the owner of Rayani Air, Ravi Alagendrran, was willing to let go of some shares, I thought about it and the opportunities from it. However, I will wait for the meeting before making a decision.”
Rayani Air’s operations was suspended for three months effective April 11, after the airline failed to adhere to certain conditions set by the Transport Ministry and the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA).
Ravi meanwhile had said he was willing to part with his 51% stake in the airline, provided the new investor maintained the airline’s Shariah-compliant status.
