PETALING JAYA:
A parent, who refused to heed traffic rules outside a school in Johor, found himself handcuffed to a signpost when he turned aggressive and tried to pick a fight with the school’s guards.

According to a report by The Star Online, that cited a China Press report, the Wednesday incident began when the parent, a man, refused to move his car which was blocking rush-hour traffic at SJK (C) Foon Yew (5) despite being told by a school security guard to do so.

It was reported that the man tried to pick a fight with the guard instead, who in turn handcuffed him to a signpost with the help of two colleagues.

The school’s Parent-Teacher Association chairman Hou Wen Fu said the guards only resorted to handcuffing the man because he wanted to pick a fight with them. He also urged all parents to adhere to the traffic rules at the school.

The report said however that both parties were able to resolve the matter before police arrived on the scene.

A picture of the man handcuffed to the signpost has been posted on Facebook where it will no doubt, soon go viral.
