Fadly Mezah, who according to his Facebook profile, works at Malaysia Airports, recently posted a picture of the hanged animal, in a geese farming group’s page, after the dog allegedly attacked a few of his geese.

“A criminal has been hanged till death,” he remarked.

He however deleted his profile after the posting went viral and created a widespread backlash among netizens.

Now, netizens are demanding action be taken against the perpetrator, with an online petition initiated two days ago. It has garnered over 2,300 signatures and more than 18,400 shares on Facebook.

“The man grabbed the dog from his leash, hanged him and watched in joy as the animal gave his last breath (sic).

“He even took several photos and bragged about his act on social media,” the online petition read.

Facebook user Reeyn Audra expressed disgust with the photo, saying : “He is so cruel yet being so proud of what he’s doing.”

Another Facebook user Neyssha Nesh, also called for the man to be arrested, to serve as a lesson to others.
