PETALING JAYA: Eight ustaz and bomoh apparently cannot put a stop to cases of mass hysteria at a school in Kota Bharu, Star Online reported.
Now, Siti Hawa Mat, the principal of the school, SMK Pengkalan Chepa 2, has asked for anyone who can help to resolve the situation to contact the school.
Since Monday, more than 100 students and even teachers, were hit by hysteria.
At their wit’s end to stop the hysteria cases, the school had to close today (Thursday). Only the teachers were present.
It will reopen on Sunday and Siti Hawa said there will be two hours of prayers with the students then.
Star Online interviewed one of the teachers affected. She said she went to the aid of a schoolgirl and suddenly felt as if someone was pinning her down.
She then claimed she saw a black spectre and passed out.
