KUALA LUMPUR: Media Prima Berhad (MPB) is ready to telecast live on TV3, the debate between Urban Well-being, Housing and Local Government Minister Abdul Rahman Dahlan and Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng on the Taman Manggis land controversy.
MPB’s Television Current Affairs and News group managing editor Mohd Ashraf Abdullah said he noted Communications and Multimedia Minister Salleh Said Keruak’s announcement yesterday that Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) was ready to telecast the debate.
“MPB is also ready to do the same, live on TV3 as proposed by Lim Guan Eng on the date and time agreed by both sides,” he said in a statement Saturday.
Barisan Nasional claimed that the Penang government led by DAP had sold the Taman Manggis land which was allegedly allocated for construction of affordable homes.
