The Gua Musang MP  signed the “Kelantan Declaration”, which stated the signatories’ unwavering support for Prime Minister Najib Razak’s administration.

This was stated in a Facebook post on Umno information chief Annuar Musa’s page.

“Tengku Razaleigh has just signed the Kelantan Declaration expressing undivided support for the leadership of prime minister and Umno president Najib Razak,” said the post.

Attached to it were pictures of Razaleigh signing the declaration, witnessed by Najib. Other Kelantan lawmakers were also present.

Razaleigh’s name was among the 58 signatories to the Citizens’ Declaration, led by former Premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad, which called for Najib’s resignation.

Although he was not present during the signing of the Citizens’ Declaration earlier this month, he had been coy when asked by reporters if he supported the movement.

Annuar, in a separate post, said the signing took place during a meeting attended by Kelantan Umno leaders and Najib.

He said matters concerning the state’s development were also discussed.

“Among the requests made were for an expansion to the existing airport, oil royalty, Gua Musang-Kota Bharu Highway, The Red Warriors stadium and others… May we get what is best for the people.”
