He said the police report was made regarding allegations which implicated him in real estate transactions involving Dudley International House, a student hostel bought by Mara in Australia last year.
Ahmad Nazim, said the statement by Rafizi, MP for Pandan, had caused him humiliation and affected his reputation as a member of the Mara staff.
The issue arose after Australian newspaper, The Age, claimed that several high-ranking officials in Mara and a former politician had spent millions in government funds to purchase an apartment block in Melbourne, via its subsidiary company, Mara Incorporated Sdn Bhd.
Ahmad Nazim said he was not involved in any decision made by Mara Inc, adding that he would appoint a lawyer to file a lawsuit on the matter.
