PETALING JAYA:
Mohd Izhharuddin Nordin was just a few weeks shy from experiencing the joy of marriage when his life was savagely taken away from him.

And the offence that got the school van driver killed – he had merely “forgotten” to pick up a student from school.

Klang Selatan police chief ACP Azman Abdul Razak said the incident happened about 7pm yesterday in Jalan Kampung Sungai Udang, Klang.

The child’s uncle got riled and chased after the van, before assaulting Mohd Izhharuddin, who was still in the van.

The victim died in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.

Police picked up the 29-year-old suspect from his house, about an hour after the incident and upon questioning him, learnt that he was enraged that the victim had forgotten to pick up his relative from a religious school nearby.

“The suspect has been remanded for seven days and is being investigated for murder,” Azman told FMT.
