When pressed by reporters, she said, “It is inappropriate for me to attend today’s event but speak on an unrelated matter. Please be fair to me.
“You can ask me these questions again during the presentation of BNM’s Annual Report on March 23.”
She was met by reporters at a forum held to explain the changes in the 2016 Budget at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre here today.
She also refused to comment on whether BNM was aware of the RM2.6 billion channeled into Prime Minister Najib Razak’s personal bank accounts.
Tabung Haji chairman Abdul Azeez Rahim yesterday said that he would look into the possibility of taking legal action against the individual who leaked the warning letter from BNM, which said that reserves of the pilgrims’ fund were in the red.
