In a message to BN component parties in Kota Belud attending a special meeting, Salleh said: “Forget all that happened during the 13th election. Our chances to win back the Kadamaian seat is at risk if BN party members there are disunited.”
Kadamaian is one of the state assembly seats that form the Kota Belud parliamentary constituency. It was won by Jeremy Malajad, then of PKR, who later joined Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah, a member of the BN coalition.
Salleh, who is Kota Belud BN chairman and Kota Belud Umno division head, said all BN leaders and members in Kadamaian need to be united and work hard to realise our mission in the 14th general election.
Among those at the meeting were Kota Belud Umno division deputy leader Musbah Jamli, Jeremy Malajad, who is also PBRS Kadamaian division head, UPKO Kota Belud division chief Ewon Benedick and Parti Bersatu Sabah head Dimis Rumanti.
