KUALA LUMPUR:
A teenage boy was among four people who were injured when a storm struck at a night market, uprooting three trees at Paya Jaras Sungai Pelong in Sungai Buloh on Saturday.

The storm struck occurred at 3.20pm when the traders were preparing to open their stalls.

“The teenager, aged 13, sustained head injuries and broke his left hand. Two other men, aged 53 and 21, were injured on the body and waist. An Indonesian woman only sustained light injuries,” Sungei Buloh police said.

The storm also caused severe damage to a lorry and three vans belonging to the traders.
