PERAI: Several Perai voters have started arriving at the SJKC Chung Hwa (3) polling centre here to cast their ballots.
There are 20,479 registered voters in Perai, where there is a four-cornered contest between S Sundarajoo (PH), R Sivasuntaram (PN), H Vikneswary (Muda) and independent candidate David Marshel.
Former deputy chief minister P Ramasamy, who left DAP on Thursday after he was dropped as a candidate, held the seat for three terms since 2008.
