PETALING JAYA: The overall voter turnout across the six states holding elections today seems to be lower compared with that of the 15th general election (GE15) last November.
A look at the number of people who went to polling stations for the Subang Jaya and Batu Tiga seats in Selangor showed there was a notably lower turnout this morning.
In Batu Tiga, an Election Commission officer, who declined to be named, noted that only 3,670 people had turned up to vote as of 11am, the majority of whom were youths.
