PETALING JAYA: DAP secretary-general and PH’s Chennah candidate, Loke Siew Fook, is hoping for voter turnout to surpass 70% in Negeri Sembilan.
“I’m hoping the percentage of voters (turning up) will exceed 70% in Negeri Sembilan because in GE15, the turnout reached 74% to 75%,” he told reporters after casting his vote at SJK (C) Sin Hua in Seremban, reported Utusan Malaysia.
According to the Election Commission, as of 2pm, the voter turnout for Negeri Sembilan only reached 49%.
