ALOR SETAR: PH secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail says the unity government will put an immediate stop to the illegal mining of rare earth elements (REE) in Kedah if it forms the next state government.
“That is our commitment. To stop illegal (REE) mining and start investigations,” he said during a press conference here.
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission is currently investigating alleged corruption and illegal mining of REE in Kedah.
