ALOR SETAR: Kedah PH chief Mahfuz Omar has asked Sanusi Nor to pay up RM10,000 in legal costs owed to him for defamation.
Mahfuz said he was still waiting for Sanusi to pay up the RM10,000 after the caretaker Kedah menteri besar lost a 2019 defamation suit for linking the then MP for Pokok Sena to the opening of a Sports Toto outlet in the area.
“I’m waiting for him to contact me to settle his debt. The RM10,000 is the legal costs the appellate court ordered him to pay me,” he told a press conference.
