PETALING JAYA: Amanah candidate Azrul Mahathir Aziz experienced a rude shock during a walkabout in Taman Sahabat, Penang, after a resident ticked him off for failing to deal with squatter houses in the area.
The resident told Azrul that he was unhappy with the latter and would not vote for him in the Aug 12 polls, China Press reported.
In response, Azrul said there are certain procedures that needed to be followed before the issue can be looked into, including submitting a complaint to the Penang land office and Penang town hall.
