BN’s Sungai Panjang candidate claims he was denied entry into mosque

Imran Tamrin says he was denied entry by the custodian of the Al-Mukmin mosque in Tali Air 12, Sungai Nibong, last Saturday.

SUNGAI BESAR:
BN’s candidate for Sungai Panjang, Imran Tamrin, claimed he was prevented from entering a mosque here to perform his prayers.

The Selangor Umno Youth chief told FMT that he had informed the Sabak Bernam religious office earlier of his intentions to perform his prayers but was denied entry by the custodian of the Al-Mukmin mosque in Tali Air 12, Sungai Nibong.

“We were merely stopping over (for prayers) while on our campaign trails. Don’t tell me that is not allowed,” he said of the incident, which happened on Saturday.
