Tok Mat cleared of influenza, back on Rantau campaign trial

Cleared of influenza, Barisan Nasional deputy chairman Mohamad Hasan is back on the campaign trail as he seeks to defend his Rantau seat.

Having to take three days off to recuperate, Mohamad, also known as Tok Mat, said he hopes to make use of the remaining campaign period to win over Rantau voters, Utusan Malaysia reported.

The Umno deputy president is seeking a fifth term as Rantau assemblyman and is in a straight fight for the seat against Perikatan Nasional’s Rozmal Malakan.
