ALOR SETAR: Kedah Bersatu has reminded the party’s grassroots to accept the candidates chosen by the party to contest in the state election, including Ashraf Mustaqim Badrul Munir for the Kota Siputeh state constituency.
Kedah Bersatu chief Suhaimi Abdullah was confident that those unhappy about the decision will work towards ensuring a Perikatan Nasional (PN) victory once Ashraf is officially nominated tomorrow.
Suhaimi was commenting on threats by some Jerlun Bersatu members to close the party’s operations room if it fields Ashraf as a candidate.
