But these are no ordinary products. Wunderbath has drawn inspiration from Malaysians’ love for food and created bath products resembling these famous delicacies, each looking so eye-poppingly realistic, it will make your jaw drop.
From ‘nasi lemak’ and ‘kopi’ candles to ‘nyonya kuihs’ and ‘roti bakar’, you can find all these lip-smacking delicacies in the form of soaps and candles. They even have a musang king-flavoured lip balm – how cool is that?
Wunderbath has many fun and creative products that are not only pleasant to the eye but great for the body as well. Fair warning, you may feel tempted to bite into one.
All of Wunderbath’s products are made from plant-based and all-natural ingredients specifically for those with sensitive skin.
FMT spoke to the brand’s founder, Evelyn Marieta, was told that the idea to start Wunderbath came about in 2015 when she was looking for a lip balm suitable for her sensitive lips.

“At the time in Malaysia, the number of handmade plant-based products were limited so I decided to take matters into my own hands and began formulating my own lip balms and giving these out to friends to try,” Evelyn shared.
Before starting Wunderbath, Evelyn worked as a food scientist and used this knowledge to formulate her products. “I used to experiment and create my own scrubs and soaps as my skin would react to store-bought brands.”
Wunderbath introduced itself to the market with three main product lines – the Ultra Realistic Handmade Soaps in the Wundersoap line; the Shea Body Butter in the Wunderbutter line; and the Rose Hip Lip Balms and Stains in the Wunderlippie line.
The brand has introduced many new products since including bath bombs, essential oils and candles.
Their goal is to create fun and unique products that their customers will enjoy while also ensuring the best quality which is good for the skin. “Our best seller is our Fairy Godmother Body Butter that has been proven to help our customers with eczema over the years,” Evelyn shared.

Aside from being all natural and plant-based, Wunderbaths products are also cruelty-free.
“Our products are cruelty-free not only because of how much we love animals, but we also believe that animal testing is made redundant these days and we do not need to harm animals to ensure our products’ efficacy and safety,” Evelyn explained.
Right before the pandemic hit, Wunderbath introduced their plant-based sanitisers for sensitive skin. “We launched the hand sanitisers one day before the MCO started and it was one of the quickest product launches we have ever done,” she said.
Keeping with the theme of Malaysian products, Wunderbath is always creating new products for the many festive seasons in Malaysia.
Most recently they introduced their Hari Raya product line which included ‘ketupat’ and ‘kuih lapis’ soaps and many lip balms in flavours such as ‘teh tarik’, ‘cendol’, ‘sirap rose’, ‘ais kacang’ and ‘nasi lemak’.

For all you durian lovers out there, you would not want to miss out on Wunderbath’s Musang King lip balm.
“The lip balm 100% smells like Musang King but we do not use actual durian flesh. We use flavour components and naturally-derived extracts to mimic the taste of Musang King,” she explained, laughing. Imagine licking your lips and tasting durian all day long!
Wunderbath has no plans of slowing down anytime soon and hopes to continue bringing great products that will not only leave their customers with nourished skin but put a smile on their faces as well.
“The last two years have been full of uncertainties, but we are glad to have got through it and are able to move on to future plans,” she said.
