“Relazz Lah Malaysia” will be held at ZEPP Kuala Lumpur, the new 6,500-sq-ft event space on Jalan Hang Tuah, exclusively on Saturday, Nov 26.
The entertainment industry had only just begun recovering from the aftermath of the pandemic when stand-up comedy controversially made headlines in July.
With questions being raised about what one can or cannot joke about, Harith and his friends aim to remind everyone that it is OK to laugh again.
“Malaysians have the most amazing sense of humour; we are the first to laugh at ourselves,” the 56-year-old comedian and actor, who is renowned internationally thanks in part to his 2018 Netflix special “I Told You So”, said in a statement.
“Anyone who comes to the show will recognise there is no better way to deal with the absurdity that is life than with a good laugh.”
To that end, “Relazz Lah Malaysia” will fearlessly and good-naturedly touch on “political issues, social issues, economical issues, and all other issues that suit the fancy of the comedians”, the statement added.
Harith will be joined on stage by special guests Prakash Danel, Mad Sabah, Brian Tan, and a surprise comedian whose identity will only be revealed on the day of the show. (Could it be Douglas Lim? Or Kavin Jay? Or Gajen Nad?)
“Relazz Lah Malaysia” is presented by sleep-enhancement beverage Aemis Relazz – although it promises you won’t be sleeping anytime during the show!
Don’t miss Harith and friends on Nov 26 at ZEPP Kuala Lumpur. Tickets are priced between RM188 and RM388 and can be booked here, or by sending a WhatsApp message to 013-390 7165.
