“Anthology” is held in conjunction with Tapestry’s 10th anniversary, and also marks the group’s return to the stage post-pandemic.
It celebrates “the power of music and the arts that helped us get through the long months in isolation and lockdown, by providing an outlet to heal, smile, escape, imagine and live”, the group said in a statement.
Performed by an eight-member cast and supported by a beatboxer and three-piece live band, the show features songs from popular movies and television series, as well as various artistes including A-ha, Hall & Oates, Silk Sonic, and Queen.
A percentage of ticket sales will go to Rumah Shalom, a foster home in Puchong founded in 1997 that provides shelter, care, and education for underprivileged children from difficult family backgrounds.
Tapestry comprises Malaysian singers who share a passion for song, and was created in an effort to elevate the standard of choral and a cappella singing in the country.
Since its formation in 2012, it has produced eight shows and has been invited to perform at various corporate and private events, including World Vision’s 30-Hour Famine Countdown and the Yayasan Sime Darby Arts Festival.

‘Anthology’ runs this Friday to Sunday (Nov 11-13) at 8.30pm, with an additional 3pm matinee show on Sunday. Tickets, priced at RM88 and RM68 for children under 12 and students, can be booked here.
