The rich history of Isuzu can be traced back to more than 100 years ago when the brand was first established in Japan. Meanwhile, the very first-generation Isuzu D-Max pickup truck was introduced in Malaysia 15 years ago.
The Isuzu D-Max has had two generations with multiple facelifts during those years, and they just launched their special limited edition D-Max Stealth last month to commemorate their 15th anniversary in the country.
In a statement, Isuzu Malaysia thanked their customers for their support and confidence in the brand and product, making D-Max a well-recognised name in the pick-up truck segment.
As a token of appreciation, the company is giving away Limited Edition D-Max Jerseys to reward loyal customers.

Did you know Isuzu is named after the Isuzu River and is based in Tokyo with factories all over the world?
General Motors currently owns 34% of Isuzu Motors and this has had much influence on how the company does business.
Isuzu is a very different kind of auto manufacturer as its reputation has been built around high quality and dependable commercial vehicles and its globally respected diesel engines.
Isuzu diesel engines are used by a number of other auto manufacturers such as Opel, Vauxhall, Toyota and Land Rover.
So, apart from the many urban cowboys, weekend fishing enthusiasts and the occasional outdoors, cycling and camping family, the Isuzu D-Max has seen a lot of heavy duty ownership around the country, especially with members of the Malaysian farming community.

Isuzu D-Max is the choice for farmers
Farmers in Malaysia have families and sometimes they need a vehicle that is both a rugged workhorse as well as a family vehicle.
Plantation managers in particular have relied on the tough and reliable nature of the D-Max to go deep into plantation trails without worrying about breakdown or other issues, day after day.
The D-Max has a rugged chassis that can carry payloads up to 1,130 kg. The single cab has a load bed length of 2,305 mm and the double cab has a load bed length of 1,552 mm.
So, delivering cabbage to the market for farmers is possible. Plantation managers can bring machine parts without issue because of its generous 225 mm ground clearance.

Surprised on how versatile this pickup truck is?
Well, as a family vehicle outside of the farm, it is capable of transporting five persons to a dinner venue or taking a city holiday, going the distance whilst sipping diesel fuel.
This is the trump card of the latest version of the Isuzu D-Max 1.9L Bluepower. It continues to be the most frugal vehicle in its class year after year, model after model.
