Integrated smart supply chain solutions and logistics services provider BEST Express Malaysia is setting new benchmarks in last-mile logistics performance with a series of comprehensive network upgrades aimed at enhancing delivery efficiency and customer experience for the 11.11 shopping festival.

In preparation for the surge in e-commerce orders, BEST Express focused on optimising its last-mile operations through smarter routing, improved scheduling, and expanded delivery capacity – ensuring seamless, on-time deliveries even during peak seasons.

Enhancing efficiency through smarter connections

To streamline parcel movement, BEST Express introduced self-operated branch-to-branch connections at selected stations nationwide.

This upgrade simplifies routing complexity, increases vehicle utilisation efficiency, and enables parcels to arrive at destination stations earlier than before – allowing more time for final delivery and improving overall performance.

More deliveries, faster response

Recognising the growing demand for speed and reliability, BEST Express also optimised delivery frequency and scheduling.

Smaller delivery zones now enjoy three delivery rounds per day, while areas that previously had one round now operate twice daily. These adjustments have significantly boosted delivery capacity and responsiveness, ensuring customers receive their parcels sooner and more efficiently.

Expanded capacity for peak-season performance

To support the surge in parcel volumes during major campaigns like 11.11, BEST Express expanded its last-mile delivery capacity through strategic vehicle dispatch optimisation and wider coverage areas.

These enhancements guarantee sufficient transport resources and smooth, efficient deliveries – even under the most demanding peak conditions.
